JIMS Youth Centre

In the Spring of 1998 a 12-week pilot youth project was set up in Kilkeel. The premises (kindly donated) were laid out in the theme of Star Trek and was called JIMS. The project offered a soft drinks bar, snack food, music, games such as darts, pool and play stations etc.

Since then, JIMS has expanded and grown into the centre that the community calls JIMS.  We target youth and adults alike for various programmes.  JIMS holds numerous theme events in our new end as well has hosting regular drop-in Friday and Saturday nights each weekend.  Check out our programme page for further details.

Souled Out

Sun 24 April 16

This month we have Timothy Johnston sharing with us from the Bible – he's a local and well known to many in JIMS from his past years spent at drop-in and other programmes.  Since moving on from JIMS he's finished university and has earned his teacher's qualification – many of you know him as 'Mr Johnston' from school.

ALL are very welcome to join us for this monthly worship service – evening includes tea, toast, and testimony as organised by our youth committee.
