The Crew is a year long programme designed to allow young adults to grow and develop by serving the young people of Kilkeel.
Below are the profiles or present and past Crews. You will also see the Youth for Christ Y-1 teams that served in JIMS from 2002 to 2005.
This is the first year we’ve had 4 Crew members, and they’re all great! Click to read a bit more about Megan, Paul, Kimberly, and Becca.
Megan and Daniel joined our team in 2007, all the way from Michigan in the USA. Daniel is now back in the States finishing up Bible College, and Megan has stayed on here at JIMS for another year!
In 2006, we had Mike and Nomes join the Crew. Mike has returned to the States and is currently in Seminary. Nomes is working back in New Zealand.
Our first Crew team in JIMS was Chad and Christie. Chad is now married and is now working full time in the construction industry. Christie is finishing her bachelor’s degree and will be married in the summer of 2009.
Adam and Andy joined the JIMS team in 2004 through the Youth for Christ year out programme. Andy is working on his Master’s degree here in Northern Ireland. Adam has since gotten married and is attending seminary in the United States.
In 2003 JIMS had Dave, Elaine and Laura join the team through Youth for Christ’s Y-1 programme. Dave is now a full time youth worker in Lisburn here in Northern Ireland. Elaine now does Leadership In Training with Youth For Christ and is based in Ballyclare. Laura is also involved with Leadership In Training through Youth For Christ. She is based in Killyleagh.
Lorne and Lily were JIMS’ first year out team from Youth for Christ. Lily is now married and works in a law office in St. Louis. Lorne is also married and is living in South Korea.
