Jason Kemper
Hi, I’m Jason Kemper and I am super excited to be part of Crew this year. I’m originally from Chicago, Illinois over in America, but I have been living in Kilkeel now for 3 years! Time has just flown by and this wee town has become home for me. It has been brilliant getting to know many of the young people through Scripture Union, Mentor Groups, and now JIMS. It’s been fun to be able to encourage young people to live their lives for Jesus…and be around long enough to see them continuing to live their lives for Him. I am really looking forward to the year to see all that God will do. All I know is that God is good and I’m sure will do bigger and better things then I can even think or imagine!
Glenn McBride
Hi folks,
My name is Glenn and I’m from the high flying town of Omagh (ok, it isn’t really high flying, but it certainly is growing!) I am 21 and have just finished 3 years at university at the University of Ulster, Magee (it’s in Derry), studying Computer Games (no not playing them, learning how to make them). It was quite good fun, some parts of it were difficult but most of it was good craic! I have a mum, dad and 3 amazing brothers, all of whom I love so much!!
I am really looking forward to getting stuck in here at JIMS, getting to know all the young people, being a part of their lives, encouraging them in their own walk with Jesus Christ. Do not be afraid of coming and saying ‘hi’, or if you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me and I will do my best to answer them!!

Ellie O’Connor
I’m Ellie O’Connor and I am from Stevensville, Michigan in the United States. I first heard of JIMS from a friend who knew someone on the crew and I really felt God pushing me towards this program. My original plan was to come to JIMS right after graduating high school, but I decided to go to college a year and then come. I would ideally like to get my degree in Music and Psychology, but I’m not really sure. I hope that working with JIMS will help me get some direction in what I would like to study. I enjoy reading, sports, the great outdoors, movies, playing my guitar and basically anything and everything that has to do with music. I already love it here and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me in this next year.
Keri Fackrell
Hey my name is Keri. I am from Easley, South Carolina, USA. I am 22 and just recently graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Youth Ministry and Biblical Studies. I was raised in a Christian family whose inspired me to pursue a relationship with God first. My four best friends are my niece and three nephews. I love to watch movies and hang out with friends doing just about anything. I love to laugh and make people smile. I enjoy all sports (to play and to watch), but my favourite is American football! I am already in love with Northern Ireland and the ministry here at JIMS. I am so excited for the plans God has for the youth of Kilkeel and I am so grateful to be here to watch His plan unfold.
Peter Thompson
As I continue to study youth work at Belfast Bible College, I’m blessed to split my internship at JIMS and Christ Church. Beginning my second year at JIMS brings excitement as I look forward to Nite Lite, drop-in, Lads’ group, schools work, and our mission trip to Romania. This year I hope to develop further relationships via football with some of the contacts I’ve made throughout the summer.
It’s been great to see God at work in the youth of Kilkeel; I pray that this year He continues to grow His kingdom through our team. Kilkeel is the best place in the world.
