6th March Midnight Football
There was competition galore when the various clubs from the Mourne area gathered for the first night of midnight football at Kingdom Youth Club.
JIMS and Kingdom Youth Club have partnered in organising another midnight football scheme. This year the event is happening at Kingdom Youth Club just outside of Kilkeel. There are 8 wonderfully talented teams from various youth clubs in the Mourne area. JIMS and Kingdom have each provided numerous teams and have been joined by: the Net in Annalong, two team from the Boys’ Brigade, and a team from Longstone.
With various rivarlies in place, the boys had a great night on Friday the 6th of March. After the first night there was a clear understanding that the older team from the Boys’ Brigade and a team from Kingdom were top dogs. We’ll see how far each team goes in the next few weeks.
