Alton Towers Fun
Over the Halloween holiday, a group of 32 made the long journey to Alton Towers. After hours on a bus and boat, the group was rewarded with a sneak peek of the Newcastle-Stoke football match. Following a glorious night in a hotel, the group had an amazing day in Alton Towers itself.
In addition to our planned agenda, the group had a great evening watching the final few minutes of a football match – even the girls enjoyed it.
Following a great sleep, the group had seven hours to explore and enjoy Alton Towers. They got their thrills on Oblivion, Air, Thirteen, Rita, and more. We had a great sunny day to build relationships, share laughs, and scream like never before. Many in the group conquered their fears and went on most rides – thanks to much positive peer pressure.
We’d like to thank the Department of Foreign Affairs for funding this residential – it was part of our effort to eliminate anti-social behavior common in Kilkeel over the Halloween holiday.
