Community Clean-up
Glass, bottles, trolleys, bikes, wood, tires, the list goes on…these are only a few items that our team removed from the walkway and beach of Kilkeel.
The second week of Project 6.8 brought with it rain, exhaustion, new faces, and joint activities with Kingdom Youth Club.
Our team tackled the Scrogg, walkway, and beach with energy and some laughs. Though the rubbish removal was mundane, our team made the most of the work by creating new games…
In between the work, our youth enjoyed football, Frisbee, and a BBQ out at Kingdom Youth Club. After which, some young people from Kingdom joined in our community clean up various afternoons.
All in all, we filled bin bag after bin bag with rubbish…
Once more, thanks to all who lifted us in prayer and cooked various dinners.
