Congrats to Kingdom B and the Net
The final night of midnight football brought some close competition. Kingdom B managed to win the league while the Net won the cup – and £10 vouchers to JJB Sports!
Our final night brought close matches – some which went into penalties. In the end, Kingdom B won the league by 1 point.
We quickly shifted into a cup competition for the last part of the evening – in which Longstone and the Net fought their way into the semi-finals. Our final match ended up being a grow show between Kingdom C and the Net.
In addition to football, the boys participated in basketball coaching and a PIPS seminar on mental health. Following the final, PIPS presented each participant with medals. Kingdom B received trophies and the shield to hold onto for this year while the Net won vouchers.
After enjoying much Chinese from the China Inn the boys and coaches left – many who stated that this was the best football tournament thus far hosted by JIMS and Kingdom.
