Deal or No Deal
Deal or No Deal was back by popular demand with twenty contestants competing for up to £250!
On Saturday, 18 June, young people came into the function room hoping to be one of the lucky contestants in JIMS’ own Deal or No Deal. Twenty lucky young people were chosen. In a draw Robert Annett was selected to go head-to-head against the banker. With several good rounds taking out mostly the lower numbers, Robert had the banker sweating. The tables seemed to turn after that and there was once again a balance of power as one after another Robert opened the higher valued boxes. In the end Robert was left with two boxes, one containing £5, the other £100. The bankers offer of £25 didn’t entice him, and he decided to play through. As the crowd cheered his decision, the banker called again and offered the swap. Robert took suggestions from friends and fellow contestants before deciding to accept the bankers offer of a swap. He traded the box he had held the entire game for box number 17. Everyone knew the banker’s luck had run out, and Robert had made the right decision, when he opened his new box to reveal that he had just won £100! This game will surely return in the autumn so look for your chance to play.
