JIMS and Kingdom Go-Karting Trip
Ready. Steady. Go! The race was on Tuesday, 1 December at Formula Karting in Newry.
Thirty young (and not so young!) people traveled to Newry on Tuesday evening for some go-karting fun. Everyone competed in four races prior to the quarter finals. Competition was fierce with less than two seconds separating the slowest and fastest lap time. The field of competitors narrowed down during the semi-finals and finals until three were left standing on the winners’ podium. After the time of friendly competition, the group enjoyed a brief food stop in Warrenpoint on the journey back to Kilkeel.
