New Year’s Eve at JIMS
This year JIMS opened our doors for the youth to come and hang out with their friends. Although drop-in was open, the majority of the 45 young people took part in our table quiz. To bring in 2010, we counted down arm in arm and exchanged well-wishes with all that were there.
As 2010 crept into reality, JIMS was full with 45 youth who enjoyed laughs and fun with their friends. Although we were a tad unsure as to how the evening would unwind, our youth committee helpped plan a successful theme night. [Thank you youth committee!]
We were open for drop-in and had an hour of ‘light entertainment’ in the form of a table quiz. The quiz focused on various aspects of the past decade…questions were developed and presented by our Becca Dean. The winning team happened to know who sang ‘Unwritten’, identify ‘Star Trek’ by a simple photo, and remember when London was awarded the 2010 Olympics.
Congrats to the winning team: ‘Magic Banjos’…they won a JIMS prize of a free sweet and drink.
