Pool Competition
On Friday, 13 February, JIMS Youth Centre and Kingdom Youth Club joined together for an intense pool competition. Each club provided 4 finalists from their individual tournaments to participate in this lively event.
The night kicked off with the tournament draw to determine match-ups for the first round. Fans from both Kingdom and JIMS packed the room to support their friends. Playing best of three games, 4 were eliminated as their opponents moved on to the semi-finals.
Pressure mounted as the spectators cheered on the players, now playing best out of 5. Two more were eliminated, leaving Caolan from Kingdom and Andrew from JIMS left in the final. Caolan jumped to an early 2-0 lead, but Andrew came back to tie it at 2-2. In the final match, the crowd cheered shot after shot as each player moved closer to victory. The last shot decided the match, and Caolan became the winner of the competition. He received a trophy and both he and Andrew received gift vouchers for JJB Sports.
Thanks to all those who participated from both Kingdom and JIMS. Overall, it was a successful evening and we’re looking forward to many similar events in the future!
