Project 6.8: Kilkeel beach clean up
On this great Wednesday, our team was met by others from Annalong youth fellowship and Kingdom Youth Club for an afternoon of much needed cleaning along the Kilkeel shore. We had a great time sifting through rope, buckets, and many bottles…all this before the rain came to join our fun.
The beach in Kilkeel might not be used for swiming [that’s just a gross concept]…but many locals would make use of open walking space. Therefore, our crazy team agreed to take a go at cleaning the beach area.
Our team weathered the sun with smiles and joy – all the while our team gathered full bin bag upon bin bag. We managed to get a big chunk of the beach cleaned before the fierce weather rolled in from the mountians.
The team sends a big thank you to the Annalong youth fellowship that joined for the afternoon – you had great attitudes! Also, thank you to those who joined for a bit from Kingdom Youth Club: it was great to see you there!
