Singing and Crafting
Recently, a girls group from JIMS ventured back to share songs at Slieve Roe House in Kilkeel. Following some wonderfully creative tunes, the girls enjoyed making bracelets and necklaces with Kelly Wilson.
Our usualy bi-monthly gathering of girls have enjoyed out two outings to Slieve Roe. This most recent trip brought new songs to the residents. We certainly hope to continue visiting – and perhaps develop a wee musical team that is able to join us now and then.
We were also blessed to have Kelly Wilson present with materials to make jewellry. The girls enjoyed mixing colours, sizes, and charms to make their own pieces. We even had a lovely display of rings!
