Soul Survivor
In the early hours of 29th July, a group from JIMS ventured to England for Soul Survivor A. With Mike as our host, Andy as a speaker, Beth as a leader, our group grew in faith and friendships.
16 year old Donna testifies:
I’ve been to Summer Madness twice before and this year I got a chance to go to Soul Survivor week A; both are similar though have different highlights. I enjoyed Summer Madness for the fun, knowing more people as we were on our ‘home turf’ and there were more seminars to choose from. Soul Survivor however allowed me to feel closer with God – the presence of the Holy Spirit was amazing! On the first night it was great to see about 100 people give their lives to Jesus. I felt as though I could do what I wanted in worship without the pressure of worrying about everyone around me – and Mike and Crofty were both brilliant speakers! (I do want one of Mike’s Tshirts…) Not only did I enjoy the closeness with God, but I feel like we could not have had a better group to go. I enjoyed every moment when I was away and really hope to be able to go back again! I would encourage others to do the same.
