Sr. SU Weekend
This past weekend, JIMS staff Megan and Becca joined the senior Scripture Union for their weekend away in Lisburn. Over 40 students spent Friday night through Sunday morning hanging out together, exploring the city, and learning from God’s Word.
Speaker Dave Clauson spoke well about what the gospel is and how we should share with our friends. Saturday afternoon was spent, eating, swimming, chatting, and shopping. After dinner, we made our way to the cinema to watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Though there were mixed reactions to the film, it was fun activity to end the day out. The students participated in the Sunday service at the church whose halls we stayed in and then we loaded the bus and headed home.
By the time we arrived back in Annalong/Kilkeel, everyone was tired and quite ready for a shower, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the time spent together over the weekend. We had a lot of fun and definitely will take many memories away!
