Table Tennis Tournament 2010
Our 2nd annual table tennis competition was a success despite the absence of Paul Bronsink. It came down to the battle of the brothers on Saturday night at David and Mark Henning were playing for the honor of first place. In the end, David won the tournament…and received a great JIMS prize: a voucher to Xtravision.
On Saturday night, many young men had their hopes set high on winning the high speed competition. The older students quickly realized that the youngest contestant was the greatest competition. Mark (3rd year) put out Peter, Dave, and Ryan…all men who thought that they had the tournament won.
It finally came down to David and Mark Henning…David pulled ahead and beat his younger brother. So congrats David!!!
Although the focus was on the table tennis Saturday night, JIMS was buzzing with youth. We once more had drop-in in the function room; this allowed a stronger family feel to take over the building. As a leader, it was great to see the wide range of ages come together and mix in one large room.
