Ten Year Anniversary Dinner
On Saturday, 19th February JIMS Youth Centre celebrated ten years at its location on Greencastle Street with an anniversary dinner.
It was a lovely evening celebrating all that has taken place over the last ten years. JIMS was happy to welcome back several people who were heavily involved with JIMS in the past, including David McClay, Gary Millar, and Colin Gibson. Following the meal catered by the Kilmorey Arms, several of those connected with JIMS from the beginning, including Neville Wilerton and Mervyn Nugent, gave speeches and shared their thoughts on the previous ten years and looked forward to the next ten. To close the evening, those attending the dinner and young people in drop-in joined together to enjoy the FourKicks as they played live in the function room.
