The Harry Potter Fan Club
The JIMS’ youth were bouncing with joy when given the opportunity to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 2) in cinemas. Although some of the juniors had already seen the film, the group thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon out.
Our group had a few Harry Potter die-hard fans – they’d read the books, watched the film, bought the wands, memorized Pottermore, and found necessary ties.
So the day after it was released, JIMS enjoyed viewing the new and last film. In the back row some of our girls cried throughout the last battle, Dobby was remembered by all, and shouts of joy were given at the close of film.
Although James stated ‘It’s the end of an era’ we all know that ‘Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home’.
