Valentine’s Formal Dance: Love through the ages…

It was a night of laughes, life, and love for all…JIMS celebrated Valentine’s Day in style with a formal on Saturday, 14th February.

The JIMS formal dance was packed with high school students from Kilkeel – dressed in their finest. Even most of the boys wore a shirt and tie (including Tim Johnston). The gals enjoyed showing off their unique hair styles and colorful dresses.

The night was topped off with our mystery man who ran the chocolate fountain. We had hoped the young people would get a thrill out of the fountain; instead, the staff and volunteers seemed to take a strong liking to it. (And why shouldn’t they have – there were marshmallows, strawberries, cherries, and even bananas to dip in the chocolate!)

The JIMS team thanks all the volunteers who helped staff the night and also clean up after the party. We couldn’t have done it without you all!
