Winter Lock-in
To kick off December in style, JIMS and Kingdom had our annual lock-in Dec 3rd-4th. With little to no sleep, the group of 40 enjoyed games, cookies, discussion, films, and genuine fun.
Following our supper, Chinese, the group enjoyed a discussion facilitated by our very own Peter Thompson. They focused on their similarities and differences – highlighting the importance of getting along. The discussion was enhanced by film clips with testimonies encouraging young people to stray away from sectarian behavior.
After 2.30am, the group was given general freedom throughout JIMS; they enjoyed Christmas films, Christmas cookies, uncomfortable sleep, and games. Overall, the youth enjoyed the evening.
