After-School Computer Club has been set up for students in P3 through P7. The Computer Club runs for three terms which coincide with the school calendar.

Be Fellowship takes place on Saturday evenings at 6:30. It gives girls in 3rd year and above the chance to come together to study God’s Word and to help each other grow in their faith. We meet in the cafe of JIMS, chat, have some tea, take a look at challenges and encouragements in Scripture, and pray with and for each other.
Once a month…Thursday 7.30pm-9.30pm
Boys’ night is for 1st-3rd year boys. We meet in JIMS for various themed night such as drop-in and film nights; this year alone, we have done a boys’ only games night and two film nights…if you’d like to present an idea for boys’ night in please chat with Dave McIlveen.
In addition to drop-in each weekend, JIMS hosts various theme nights. These include discos, dress up nights, or highlighting RICO’S Cafe with by serving special food.
Prices do vary depending upon the event - you’ll find prices on the website under each event described…or take a look at the posters advertising each theme night.

Drop-in is open on Friday and Saturday nights from 8 PM-1 AM for those in 3rd year and above. We have a games room with a PS3, Wii, and talbe tennis as well as a pool table and XBox in the drop-in room.
Alongside drop-in we have RICO’S Cafe for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and various food items.

Tuesday afternoons 3.00 pm- 5.30pm
GAP takes place on Tuesday afternoons…and is primarily for 1st and 2nd years. It’s a great time for high school students to take time out each school week for chats, amazing fellowship, and drop-in activities.

Once a month…Thursdays 7.00pm-9.00pm
This great programme is for girls only! 1st – 3rd year girls are welcome to join each month. We have a different theme each time we meet…various themes that we have had in the past year are: Slieve Roe Christmas Carols, film night with pajama party, and a game night as hosted by Becca Dean

Lads’ group was begun to encourage and strength the young men in their spiritual lives. In the autumn of 2009, Lads’ gained new leadership and is currently studying the New Testament book of Hebrews.
This is a free Bible study and young men’s group for 3rd year and older.
The Lunch Fellowship is a chance for those sixty-five and over to come in and enjoy the atmosphere of Rico’s Cafe.
Each week a few folks from JIMS (Crew and staff) head to a local school to teach 3rd years ‘good citizenship’. On top of this, JIMS has partnered with Kingdom Youth Club in varios trips, in house competitions, and a midnight football scheme.
In the past year JIMS has been able to commit a Crew member (Becca Dean) to joining the Kilkeel High School Scripture Union committee. Alongside Becca, Megan and Dave help staff the weekly SU meetings.
Due to our budding relationship with SU at KHS, JIMS has partnered in running mentor groups through at KHS. This has been a blessing to both leaders and the young people involved.
Last Sunday of the month 8.00pm-10.30pm
Generally speaking, Souled Out meets on the last Sunday of each month. This youth worship service targets 3rd year and older…though all ages are welcome.
This is completely free…and is enhanced with great FREE tea, coffee, and biscuits that encourage our time of fellowship before and after the service.

In the spring of 2008 JIMS piloted a new programme called ‘That God Thing’. After hearing evaluations from both leaders and the youth involved, JIMS has made this a regular occurance.
For 1st-3rd years, That God Thin strives to teach, encourage, and challenge youth in their spiritual journey. We always have a time of fun, food, and fellowship that surrounds our teaching from the Word of God. And…it’s free!
